Service 01

Corporate film and institutional video

A short film that explains what a company does, presents a site or carries an internal message. The goal, written down before the first frame, sets the running time, the tone and the setup.

Uses

When this is the right format

When something has to be understood quickly by someone who does not know your trade: a client, a partner, a candidate, a new joiner.

  • Present a site to those who cannot come in person
  • Put a face to a department or a team
  • Support a reorganisation
  • Give weight to roles that are hard to recruit for
  • Record a skill so it can be taught

How it runs

From the writing to the mix

01

Scoping and writing

Goal, audience, message. You approve a treatment, then a script or an interview outline.

02

Recce

Light, noise, access, safety, the shape of the day. On site or on a video call.

03

Shoot

1 to 3 cameras, sound recorded twice, portable lighting. Your speakers are prepared.

04

Post-production

Edit, grade, mix, graphics. 2 rounds of changes, then delivery.

Running times

How long a film that holds should be

Running time is set by the attention available, not by the budget.

Target running times by corporate film format
FormatRunning time that holdsWhere it gets watched
Promotional film30 to 60 secondsSocial media, in-store screens
Portrait and employer brand1 to 2 minutesCareers page, LinkedIn, campus fairs
Institutional film2 to 3 minutesHome page, trade show, seminar opening
Long form, demonstration or training4 minutes and beyondClient portal, intranet, guided sales pitch

One shoot yields several lengths: they are decided in the writing, not in the edit.

Frequently asked

The points worth settling early

How much of our people's time does this take?
30 to 45 minutes per speaker, setup included. Everyone gets their slot before the shoot: nobody waits around.
Our executives are uncomfortable on camera: how do you handle that?
That is the most common case by far. The questions go out in advance, the interview runs as a conversation, the edit keeps only what serves. Nothing goes out without your approval.
Can we reuse the footage later?
Yes. The licence is written into the quote: duration, media, territories. The rushes stay available for 6 months, extended on request.
What is the overall lead time?
2 weeks to a month of post-production, 2 rounds of changes included. Rush track: 1 to 5 days, with a 30 % uplift on post-production.
Do you work outside your region?
Anywhere in France, and internationally. Travel and accommodation costed on the quote.
Will you work with our agency?
Yes, directly for a communications department or as a subcontractor for an agency or an organiser, with the deliverables that implies.

Goal, audience, deadline, site constraints: those 4 are enough.
